Guided tour of the BORDERS exhibition

Discover the BORDERS exhibition with a guide! Immerse yourself in this exhibition about clashing, balancing and moving between yourself, others and the world.

Borders mark where one thing ends and another begins. Do they bring order to chaos, or merely the illusion of stability? Is a border something you cross, something that holds you back, protects you, or perhaps even confines you? But what are borders really, if we all experience them differently? Are they set in stone or eerily unstable? Have they arisen naturally or are they man-made?

The exhibition BORDERS presents the results of scientific and artistic research into borders by, amongst others, Bieke Depoorter, playField, Robbert & Frank Frank & Robbert, Francis Alÿs, Roger Raveel, Lieve Blancquaert, Luanda Casella and Madonna Lenaert.
