In the new exhibition BORDERS, artists and scientists explore what borders are, what they mean and how they are changing. Come and question, push the boundaries of and rethink borders.

Permanent exhibition
In the permanent exhibition, you’ll discover that science is the result of trial and error, doubt and imagination.
Botanical Garden
At the Botanical Gardens, you can discover more than 7,000 different species of plants and trees. The gardens and glasshouses are open daily and admission is free.
Mon - Tue - Thu - Fri: 9.30am to 5.30pm
Wed: closed, including public holidays and school holidays
Sat & Sun - Public holidays - School holidays: 10am to 6pm
The Botanical Garden is open on Wednesdays.
The greenhouses close daily at 4.30pm.
Every first Thursday of the month, GUM & Botanical Garden are open until 10 p.m. during Late Thursday at Ghent Museums.
GUM is closed on 24, 25 and 31 December and 1 January.
