GUM unboxes masterpiece for PHALLUS. Norm & Form
GUM welcomed an important guest on Thursday. This 'muscle man' came over from the University Museum Groningen and will be given a central place in the exhibition PHALLUS. Norm & Form, which opens March 24.
This anatomical model of a man is made of papier-mâché and is crerated by the same person as the exceptional horse in the museum, the French doctor Louis Auzoux (1797-1880).
Colleagues from the University of Groningen accompanied the muscle man with great care to Ghent.
